IARI Technician Recruitment 2021 : Vacancy Notification, Syllabus, Pay scale, Online Application Fee

The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) will conduct competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Technician (T-1) under Direct Recruitment in Pay Level-3 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix at ICAR Research Institutes in accordance with the rules issued by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The IARI under the Administrative control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, DARE, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi will hold online computer-based test (CBT).

Important Dates of IARI Technician Recruitment 2021:

• Submission of online applications starts on:  18 December 2021
• Last date and time for receipt of online applications:  10 January 2022 (11:55 P.M.)
• Last date and time for making online fee payment: 10 January 2022 (11:55 P.M.)
• Date of online objective type examination (CBT):  Between 25 January- 05 February,2022

Qualification for IARI Technician Vacancy 2021:

Matriculation pass from a recognized Board. Candidate must specifically indicate the percentage of marks obtained (calculated to the nearest two decimals) in the relevant column of the application form. Where percentage of marks is not awarded by the University but only CGPA/OGPA is awarded, the same shall be converted into percentage in terms of conversion norms of university in this regard, besides indicating the CGPA/OGPA in the application form. Candidates will have to produce the certificate/document issued by the university evidencing conversion formula of university, when called for document verification. Round off % age will not be acceptable under any circumstances for consideration for appointment. The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60%.

Age limit for IARI Technician Vacancy 2021:

• Minimum age limit is 18 years as on 10 January 2022 i.e. closing date of online application
• Maximum age limit is 30 years as on 10 January 2022 i.e., closing date of online application. The maximum age limit for Serving regular employees of ICAR is 58 years as on 10 January 2022.

Application Fee for IARI Technician recruitment 2021:

• UR/OBC-NCL(NCL)/EWS:  1000/-
• Women/SC/ST/Ex-servicemen:  300/-

Note:  ALL FEMALE CANDIDATES AND CANDIDATES BELONGING TO SCHEDULED CASTE/SCHEDULE TRIBE/EX-SERVICEMEN PERSON WITH BENCHMARK DISABILITY ARE EXEMPTED FROM PAYMENT OF EXAMINATION FEE. THEY HAVE TO PAY REGISTRATION FEE ONLY.

Exam pattern of IARI Technician recruitment 2021:

Examination will be of 100 marks consisting of Objective Type – Multiple Choice Questions and the duration will be of one and half hours. There will be four subjects carrying 25 marks for

each of the following subjects as per the following scheme:

1. General Knowledge:  25 Questions- 25 marks
2. Mathematics:  25 Questions- 25 marks
3. Science:  25 Questions- 25 marks
4. Social Science:  25 Questions- 25 marks

• Total time: 1.5 Hour
• Language:  Hindi & English
• There will be no interview for the posts of Technician (T-1).

Syllabus for IARI Technician recruitment 2021:

1. General Knowledge: Question may be designed to test knowledge of current events relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Science, General Policy & Scientific Research.
2. Mathematics: Matric level questions on Number System, Fundamental Arithmetical Operations, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry and Statistical Charts.
3. Science: Matric level questions on Physical and Chemical Substances – nature and Behaviour, World of Living, Natural Phenomenon, Effects of Current and Natural Resources.
4. Social Science: Matric level questions on India and the Contemporary World Democratic Politics, Understanding Economic Development and Disaster Management.
